Travelling is a passion for so many people. I spend every day through the lens of travel adventure in our hometown of Cairns and share my love for and knowledge of Cairns with visitors and locals so that they have a richer experience of Cairns.

My name is Peter Schleifer and all my life I was interested in two things – history and travelling. I was lucky enough to be able to travel to many countries over the years including the USA, Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Japan, New Zealand as well as most of the European countries.
Being born and raised in Vienna, Austria I was always surrounded not only by culture and art, but also by its long and rich history. Back in 1991 I started to produce multi-media shows about my travels and present it to an ever-growing audience. After living in Florida, USA for five years my wife and I moved to Cairns in 2014. We immediately fell in love with this beautiful tropical city and it is with great pride and honour that I bring my experience and appreciation of local history, culture, art and food to you through walking tours.
